I have a lot of these cardigans with the pearl buttons, and I am very fond of the buttons, but ultimately there is more colour choice in the newer Vee cardigan. That is the one I would opt for now, as there are a couple of colours which I haven't bought, and I like the change with regard to buttons. It is a good basic style for a lighter weight summer/mid-season cardigan, although I have worn it throughout the year as it provides a light extra layer even in the winter, and can fit easily into my workbags. The new colours - pistachio, brown marl and cornflower, as well as flannel grey, are a welcome addition. The cardigan is well cut and designed so that it avoids any baggy appearance and is flattering. It looks good fastened or open, and this lighter style can also be belted. I find that adding a belt to the cashmere range can look rather bulky.
