I love the gilet. Living in Australia where the winter is milder I find the gilet perfect under an overcoat to keep warm. It has also been a much commented on purchase. I find the style better than a vest - a bit more contemporary!

The lambswool gilet was bought aroiund February I think - I have found it very useful both with long sleeved T-shirts in the winter & being pale blue it has come in very handy for wearing with summer t-shirts during recent cool spells. It is just the right thickness for both jobs and so is versatile garment. I am 5'4" and the length is fine.

I have three lambswool gilets now. I find them very versatile: stylish enough to wear in the office as well as with casual clothes at home.
The first one I bought in blueberry to match my blueberry cropped cardigan. This gives extra warm both on the journey to work and in the draughty office.
I then bought two together [must have been a special offer] one in rose which is very good with a three quarter sleeved blouse or T-shirt this 'summer' and a charcoal one I have yet to wear. No doubt it will be useful in the autumn and winter with my charcoal and black cardigans............

The gilet was purchased for a reason which was, during the summer months to keep the chill off with the summer breeze!, when we get one, but keeping cool at the same time, especially when on my bicycle. I was extremely pleased with it, it does exactly what I wanted it to and was surprised how much I use it, I am considering purchasing another, but as we retired recently am wondering if I need it at the moment.
We have brought several items from Wool Overs and are very happy with all our purchases, both my husband and I would consider Wool Overs before we would buy elsewhere.
