GO WILD IN THE GARDEN

Large or small, every garden can become a beautiful, natural haven for you, our wildlife and the environment. Looking after our gardens to benefit wildlife means declining species, such as hedgehogs, bats and sparrows, can find a safe place to live and thrive. It’s easy to make a difference. Small changes can make a big difference. Sit back and see who comes to visit your garden!

Let nature take its course and attract wildlife by allowing areas of your garden to grow wild. Planting native and nectar-rich shrubs and plants will attract and support bees, butterflies, birds, and other species.

Plastic found in synthetic clothes, along with seed trays, plant labels and pots are damaging our wildlife. Look for alternatives such as seed trays made from FSC-certified natural rubber or plant fibre, and clothes made from natural fibres and yarns. All biodegradable and won’t contribute to plastic pollution.
